Kristin Lish, M.A., author, sexual healer, sex educator, and musician teaches healthy and spiritual sexuality to thousands of people each year through her books, public speaking engagements, workshops, and private sessions for couples and singles. She has lived and worked throughout the world offering her expertise and knowledge in order to help others transform their lives and consciousness. Kristin is the founder of Sacred Celebrations, a healthy, successful company that is a leader in educating people of all ages and backgrounds about the divine nature, source, and purposes of sexual energy in order to develop what she calls “eight healthy and spiritual cornerstones of sexual expression.”

 Kristin teaches astounding philosophies and techniques that are spiritual in relation to sexuality. Sexual energy is considered to be sacred or divine, however one might define it. In that context, people learn to explore the meaning of masculine and feminine energies and the relationship of those inseparable energies within and between people, and in relation to the divine. She specializes in teaching about sexual communication, gender and relationships, conscious touch, and energy techniques for expanded pleasure and deepened intimacy. Kristin lives in Salt Lake City, Utah.

 

The following is my personal story.

The personal and planetary healing that is beginning to take place worldwide in regard to the sacredness of sexual energy is critical, a transformation long overdue. As a sexual healer and sex educator, I feel deeply blessed to be involved in this work as I create and share the most personally and professionally rewarding experiences of my life.

For most of my adult life, I have listened to the inner call of a vague "distant drum," the indescribably powerful yearning that led me to explore various cultures, diverse spiritual and religious traditions, and many sacred places on Earth. I was introduced to wonderful books, amazing humans, and other magnificent beings. I was also led to my physical illnesses and personal tragedies, as well as mystical experiences and healing abilities.

In general, I had a natural interest in exploring and learning. However, in time I realized my profound interest in learning was the result of an unconscious need to free myself from my Western culture’s distorted, narrow, and often-negative beliefs and values about sexuality. Consciously, I began to ask the question: What is the contemporary experience of exploring and honoring a sacred relationship with my body, with Earth, and in the deepest sense, what does it mean to be a woman? I explored the issues for years, not because I was uncomfortable with my femininity, but because I sensed I could find a fuller meaning and that it would change my life forever.

Finally, I entered a critical, difficult, yet wonderful 15 year period of change, a spiritual awakening that involved graduate studies, world travel, a physical healing, divorce, Kundalini awakening, spiritual sexuality, long periods of retreat in the wilderness, many years of chosen celibacy, and deepened abilities as a energy healer. Through my profound love for Earth, combined with various personal tools such as music, meditation, prayer, dance, journal writing, reading, and states of expanded awareness, the unimaginable transformation evolved. The seed was planted for my understanding of the depth and fullness of possibilities of spiritual sexuality, of life’s possibilities. In time, my relationship with and expression of the divine source and true nature of sexual energy was created.

To my amazement, I found that I was part of a small but growing group of people worldwide who were making the same inner journey. I questioned my role. I sought participation. I found meaningful contribution. Eventually I began helping others do the same.

My life would never be the same!
